Today's budget
Its said to be a dramatic one.
Remove all in work benefits.

Increase the minimum wage?!

I love it when Government make policy and then expect others to pay for it. Fuckers.

Bit like telling the BBC to pick up the tab for the over 75 free TV licence. The government say 'hey, golden oldies, who mainly vote Conservative, have a free TV licence even though you may be a millionaire. Oh, by the way, the BBC will be paying for it'

I fucking hate Governments. This country would work so much better without them sticking their crowd pleasing oars in.

NO benefits/education/NHS services for any immigrants that are not tax payers

Abolish Employers National Insurance on the basis that amount goes towards increased wages (and therefore increased tax take anyway)

I see nothing wrong with in work benefits IF the person is available for at least 35 hours work a week. However all tax credits and child benefit have done is drive up house prices as lenders will take them as income.

ALL services, except NHS to be means tested, including TV licence and this to be extended to iPlayer services too. We need the BBC and I would fucking HATE our TV to become like american TV

American TV like HBO?

Fuck me people talk shit sometimes. The Americans have made some of the best TV drama in the world in the last decade and someone thinks we should keep the shitty BBC as it is? Baking & Dancing competitions and fucking Tennis?

Take a long hard look at yourself,

Hows your luck, son.

Fucking MPs get shed loads every fucking year.

Re: Today's budget
They've fucked up with the public sector pay award for two reasons.

The first reason is that it won't allow for the public sector to pat more to attract people in areas of real need. There are some jobs that really do need doing in the public sector, and if you don't pay the money, you won't get people to do the jobs. To treat these the same as all over jobs defies logic and is particularly strange coming from a chancellor who should have some respect for market economics.

The second reason is that if they are going to treat all public sector workers the same, then MPS should be included in it rather than getting ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE pay rises every year.

Re: Today's budget
As for American TV, lots of it is excellent, but it is much more enjoyable if you watch it in England than America, their stations are shit and you manage to catch the odd glimpse of a programme in between hours of adverts.

HBO has subscribers. It doesn't do adverts does it?
